Ok, so i noticed there wasn't any stamps just for type 1 diabetics out there....and being one myself, i kinda thought there should be one lol. I mean there's a few for awareness, but i thought there should be one, you know, just to support my fellow type ones ^_^
Well, originally i wanted to say something along the lines of "I'm a type one it's not my fault" because there's SO, so many misconceptions about us...plain and simple. there's a huge difference between type one's and two's - they are NOT the same disease, so please don't think they are, it gives me and everyone else that's a type one a bad rap.

DIABETES CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER, and i just wanted to let all the Type 1's out there know that we're in this together, and yes, LIFE IS/CAN BE GOOD...even with needles!! :D

Im type 1 as well, and it wont make my life any worse, maybe a little more challenging, but I can still be happy!

not very long. 7 months.

I'm 17, so I'm not used to the lifestyle.
Plus seeing as how badly it effected my father's side of the family, it's always been a really scary thing.

yeah, i totally see where you're coming from. I got it when i started high school, and i'd seen it affect my moms side all my life, so i was scared spitless...but it does get easier - plus, we're all here for ya!
